Ha Long Bay is one of the several dozen Winnipeg Vietnamese restaurants that offer the soul-warming comfort of traditional noodle-rich beef pho. Vietnamese refugees, Tuyen and Hoa Vo Nguyen started their West end restaurant in 1988, with beef pho as a staple on their menu. Their aromatic pho is made by simmering beef bone with marrow for 8 to 10 hours for a flavourful broth. Beef satay pho is also available with slightly sweet and subtle spice flavours.

Le bœuf canadien est élevé avec fierté et soin dans chaque province du pays. Il y a 60 000 fermes et ranchs qui élèvent du bovin de boucherie au Canada. Aujourd’hui encore, on peut observer ces élevages en se promenant dans la campagne. Les bovins passent la majeure partie de leur vie dans les pâturages et maintiennent ainsi 68 % de la capacité d’habitat de la faune provenant des terres agricoles du Canada.
