Located in Fort Langley, The Ancestor Café—founded by First Nation Sayisi Dene member Chef Sarah Meconse Mierau—is a vibrant celebration of Indigenous food sovereignty and traditional cuisine. Partnering with local Indigenous communities and suppliers, the café showcases ethically sourced ingredients and meaningful flavours in every dish. From bison and elk bannock tacos to plant-medicine jams and herbal lemonades, the menu blends nourishment and tradition, offering a space where Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities can connect over food rooted in culture and wellness.
