As the temperatures start to dip and the leaves start to turn, Ottawa’s many craft breweries work hard to perfectly capture the essence of fall. From rich and robust pumpkin ales to ginger and spice-infused beer, grab yourself the perfect pint and relish in the autumn season. 

For pumpkin-flavoured beer, try: Big Rig Brewery’s Tales From the Patch spiced pumpkin porter or the Clocktower’s pumpkin ale. 

For other autumn-inspired brews, try: Kichesippi’s Fest Marzen – Oktoberfest Lager or Maze Craze – apple cinnamon stout (available early October).  

Satisfy your sweet tooth 

If you’re a lover of all things sweet, then you need to try out these year-round and seasonal treats!  

No trip to Ottawa is complete without taste-testing an iconic BeaverTail! There are many flavours to choose from, but the apple pie or classic cinnamon BeaverTail is perfect for the fall  season.
