About

Planet Bee Honey Farm and Meadery is family owned and operated since 1997. Their mission is to provide customers with the highest quality honey bee products packaged on their farm in the Okanagan Valley, sourced from passionate local beekeepers. Visit the farm to be educated and inspired about the amazing world of the honeybee. Experience working beehives up close, and watch as pollinators visit their favourite plants, collecting pollen and nectar. Started in 2010 was the introduction of the Okanagan’s first commercial Mead to the market. Discover honey, re-imagined and ready to sip with Honeymoon Mead. Taste the sweet flavours of Honeymoon Mead including early varieties like Okanagan delight. In 2019 Planet Bee became Vernon’s first Biosphere committed entity with sustainability at the core of their business. Honey bees rely on a healthy ecosystem and environment to flourish. At Planet Bee, their vision is to continuously improve honey bee health by educating customers on how they can help & setting a positive example as a business. Planet Bee envisions a future where honey bees and humans mutually benefit from a symbiotic relationship, electing their individual species' abilities to thrive in all three pillars of sustainability.
