About
Churchill is world-renowned as the Beluga Whale Capital of the World, and each summer Frontiers North Adventures invites guests to experience this extraordinary migration firsthand.
From the travelling months of June to August, more than 50,000 belugas move into Hudson Bay, with 3,000–4,000 spending the season in the Churchill River estuary to feed, socialize, and raise their young.
Beluga Whale Adventures offer an incredible chance to see these curious, friendly whales up close in their natural habitat. Guests can take in the experience from the water by boat, kayak or even snorkeling alongside them, while also witnessing the vibrant northern ecosystem that flourishes in summer.
Alongside the whales, migratory birds return to the tundra, wildflowers bloom and polar bears come ashore as the sea ice melts.
