In case you're not in the loop, let us proudly declare that Nova Scotia's South Shore is a destination for all four seasons – spring, summer, fall, and, of course, LOBSTER!
Hence, every February, throughout the entire month, we host an incredibly delectable event known as the Nova Scotia Lobster Crawl festival.
Why February, you ask? Well, that happens to be the lobster season's peak along the entire South Shore. So, from Barrington (the Lobster Capital of Canada) to Peggy’s Cove and every charming port in between, get ready for a medley of celebrations dedicated to that irresistibly tasty crustacean.
In 2024, we made sure there was something to satiate everyone's appetite – and we're not just talking about the gastronomical delights. Picture Lucy the Lobster emerging from the ocean on February 2nd, the Lobster Roll Off Competition on February 4th, and the grand finale at the Tail End Reception towards the close of February. In between, relish in claw'tastic events, including a full-fledged lobster treasure hunt!
Make it a habit to check back frequently for our continually updated list of events and festival packages. Plan to join us in February for a month filled with lobster-infused fun.
It's all about the love of lobster at Nova Scotia's Lobster Crawl. So, mark your calendars and come celebrate with us in 2024 to fill not just your belly but also your heart!
